Wonosobo, as a Regency in Central Java Province, Indonesia, has attractions including the Dieng Plateau Theater Kalianget, and Menjer Lake. The research is intended to provide more experience for tourists who visit tour through Location-Based Mobile Augmented Reality (MAR), an application we developed, cARica. This includes travelling Wonosobo aware of other information displayed AR content. It was alternative medium tourism promotion be easy, attractive, inexpensive. practical guide attract tourist sites. In its development, use prototyping method so that each stage carried out under procedures have been prepared. To get point Interest (PoI) points sites, Global Positioning System (GPS) data taken Google Maps Latitude Longitude object. results this study present cARica service platform can accessed using Android smartphone three-dimensional animated character content with regency icon. form innovation providing exceptional services experiences potential continuously developed.
